Neil Cuthbert, Managing Director of Civil Safety Products, explains:

“Oxford Plastics design and manufacture high grade safety equipment for a variety of construction and risk- reducing purposes.  Where some safety products (made by different companies) may not meet Australian Standards and can be of poor quality, we chose the Oxford Plastics UK products because they are durable, lighter than steel plates, stronger than wood boards, and obviously more impervious than cheaper and generally inferior imports.  Our products can be reused time and time again, and the underside of the Safe Cover boards also feature a ribbed framework for added strength.  Moving them between job sites is straightforward as well – a ute, small trailer or large sized wagon and no more than two people is all that is required.  You simply can’t achieve such a quick and easy transition and fitting process with steel plates.  Aside from the excessive weight of the steel, there is also enormous possibility for lifting injuries to occur.  Our Australian WHS Regulations demand that safety should never be compromised, and with our CSP products you’ll feel assured that we have solutions to meet exacting standards onsite.”
